Treat every member the way you'd want to be treated at a car show. Disagreements and debates are welcome — personal attacks, name-calling, and disrespect are not. Critique ideas, not people.
Racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise hateful language is not tolerated under any circumstances. This includes slurs, dog whistles, and coded language. Our automated content filter enforces this in real time. Violations will result in immediate removal and may lead to a permanent ban.
Do not target, bully, threaten, stalk, or repeatedly antagonize another member — whether in posts, replies, or private messages. If someone asks you to stop engaging with them, stop.
GeauxForum exists for Louisiana's automotive, powersports, marine, heavy equipment, and outdoor vehicle community. Off-topic conversation is allowed in moderation — spam, political rants, and unrelated promotional content are not.
Do not misrepresent vehicles, parts, services, or deals. Do not impersonate dealers, mechanics, or other members. If you are promoting your own business or listing, say so clearly. Price gouging, bait-and-switch tactics, and knowingly false information are prohibited.
Do not post, link to, or promote anything that violates Louisiana or federal law — including piracy, the sale of stolen goods, unregistered firearms modifications, drug solicitation, or any other illegal activity.
Sharing your own listings, products, or services is allowed as long as you identify yourself. "Hey, I'm selling this truck..." is fine. Disguised advertising presented as organic advice is not.
Posts that break these rules will be removed without notice. Repeated or serious violations — including any hate speech, threats, or scam activity — may result in a temporary suspension or permanent ban from all of Cargeaux. Bans are enforced by account and device.
Cargeaux reserves the right to remove any content and restrict any account that we determine — at our sole discretion — to be harmful, deceptive, or disruptive to the community, even if not explicitly covered above.
